The Adult Role !

When I was in school
Oh..the good old school days;
I do not know why but
I had a desire to get out;
To get out of the study room
To get out of the uniform;
To get out of the morning pray
To get out of the daily dorm;
I prayed day in
And I prayed day out;
To be a little older
To be a little stout;
Ye..god did listen
The benevolent soul;
And I found myself
In a farewell role;
Dressed in my best
Happy as can be;
That is when the reality
Came and hit me;
In a moments twitch
Everything was gone;
From my friends and teachers
To the classes forlorn;
Yes...I was free
But when was I not;
Now I have to roam alone
Under the sun, red and hot;
Now I pray day in
And day out;
To be a little less older
To be a little less stout;
But god doesnt listen
What happened to the benevolent soul?;
As I find myself
In an adults role.

There he is!!! It definitely reflects the soul of every adult...He has so clearly adverted the child thoughts who always are in an urge to learn more n grow more but all of a sudden it stops because of wants and thoughts of an adult!!! Now, these are the ones which make him/her alone and dwell abt his childhood and thus wish to b a child...good one deb :)

I think this one is the best amongst all the three. This poem portrays the disposition of both an adult and a child. People are never satisfied with what they have. They are always in search of something which they do not possess. They realize the importance of something only after losing it. But in the case of time, even after realizing its importance..nothing can be done other than regreting. Each moment of the life is precious, enjoy it to the fullest. Great job Debumahan :)
